Tumblegrain in Dark Tan

Tumblegrain is a full vegetable-tanned cowhide, soft and tactile yet reassuringly hard wearing. A deep tannage enhances the unique qualities of the hide and encourages the development of a rich patina over time.
Surface scuffs and scratches can be rubbed away with a finger or a soft cloth.

The hides have been drummed (tumbled in drums while they are still wet) to develop a textured appearance.
Some parts of the hide will naturally get more textured than others. These are characteristics we embrace, and that is lost in imitation printing or embossed leathers.

Dark Tan a good, deep, mid-brown tan. Because this is fully vegetable tanned, and each hide is different, colours may vary slightly. The overall colour will soon ‘blend’ as the product develops it’s own patina with use.
