Are my details and transaction secure?

We use Protx and Streamline (NatWest) to ensure your order is processed securely. We use the very latest encryption technology (128 bit Secure Socket Layer or SSL). Any personal information you send to our secure server while the padlock icon is showing will be encrypted. This means that no-one, including ourselves, can intercept your credit card details and read them.

Will you be emailing me?

Protx will inform you by email of any credit card transaction you make with us, so it is important that your email details are correct at check out.

We will follow up with an email confirming your order and giving an estimated delivery date.

We will only email you otherwise if you choose to join our mailing list.

I’d like to unsubscribe from your mailing list

You can unsubscribe at any time from our emailing list by clicking the unsubscribe highlighted at the bottom of our emails, or by emailing us at unsubscribe@bowndesigns.com. Please note, that any subsequent credit card transaction you make with us online will continue to be confirmed by email from our Payment Service Provider, Protx, and a follow-up email from us.

How do you use my private details?

We will not divulge your personal details, email or home addresses or telephone number to third parties.

The information which you provide during check out is purely to serve you with your purchase.

We ask that you complete email and telephone details correctly.

We only send emails to confirm a purchase, to contact you regarding an order, or because you have chosen to join our mailing list.

We will only use your telephone number if we need to contact you regarding your order.

We may use your address to send you future details of our products by post.

Our data collection and storage is governed by the rules of the UK Data Protection Act.

What are Cookies and why do I need them ‘switched on’?

You will need to have cookies ‘switched on’ on your computer to add products to the shopping bag.

Cookies are a small text file which keeps certain information on your computer’s hard drive.

When you add a product to your basket we remember this information with a cookie so that you’re choice is still there as you move around the site, and if you leave and then return to the site.
